Travel Logistics 2017Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Israel. The State of Israel requires each visitor to have a passport that is valid for 6 months after your return date. Rules pertaining to travelling with a bike change frequently, so please check with your travel agent or airline to ensure you have the proper information.

Busses will leave from the Sheraton Tel Aviv at 115 Hayarkon Street on Saturday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Cyclists should meet at the Sheraton with their luggage no later than 6:45 p.m.
On Thursday, October 26, once the ride has ended, cyclists will be bussed to Beit Halochem in Tel Aviv. There will be an interactive tour of the Centre followed by a festive closing dinner. Transportation will be provided to the Sheraton Tel Aviv at the end of the evening.
Bike travel cases are available for purchase / rental through www.BikeBoxRentals.ca for $35/week. Packing and reassembly services are also available. It is suggested that you book as early as possible. Location: Avenue Road & Eglinton, Toronto. Contact: Efraim Ritter 4I6-795-5I07.

As soon as we have flight arrival information for all cyclists, we will circulate a list so that you can arrange shared transportation from the airport with other cyclists arriving at the same time as you. Regular taxis are able to fit a bike box in the back seat, luggage in the trunk and one passenger in the front seat. Bike assembly will take place at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv, (49 Shmuel Barcay Street, Afeka) on Wednesday October 18, Thursday October 19 and Friday October 20 from 12-5 p.m.
While we do our best to ensure a smooth assembly line, neither Beit Halochem nor any of its contractors assumes responsibility for the assembly of your bike and the contents of your bike box, especially if you are not present when your bike is being assembled.
Bike boxes will be stored at Beit Halochem until after the ride, unless you are not returning to Tel Aviv – we will need to be notified, prior to the ride.
All bikes will be taken to the starting point of the ride on Sunday October 22. If you arrive after Friday October 20, your bike will be assembled on Sunday October 22.
After the ride, the bikes will be taken back to Beit Halochem Tel Aviv to be disassembled and boxed on Friday October 27.
If you have a bike box locking system, please provide the mechanics with your combination and ensure that your bike box is unlocked prior to drop off.
All participants are required to have traveler’s medical insurance.
All participants must carry a cell phone with them during the ride.
