What a wonderful week. We loved the experience. The ride was incredibly organized, the food fantastic, the people outstanding, and the cause inspiring. The attention to details – both big and small – ensured the experience was fantastic for everyone. It was greatly appreciated. Shkoyach and thank you.

We want to thank you and the team for your hard work, care, passion and attention in organizing CIM. We had a tremendous experience that we won’t forget.

This year’s ride featured a special off-road ride with four blind tandem riders whom I rode with for three days. While pedaling on the back of their tandem bikes with a guide in front, these riders braved challenging climbs and descents.

Riding with blind cyclists is always an inspiration as is riding with the other disabled veterans on hand-bikes or with artificial limbs. My wife and I connected with many veterans on a personal level. It was very special to ride with those whom our efforts support. They are all amazing.

The ride was a great success. Over 100 participants rode for five days alongside injured Israeli war veterans. I rode in a group including veterans who were blind and/or missing limbs. Getting to know their stories was inspiring. If not for these strong and resilient individuals, their sacrifices, and their perseverance, Israel would not exist as we know it.

Beit Halochem is a place for injured (physically and emotionally) veterans to receive all types of therapies and support. One story that stands out: a veteran persevered through his disabilities (including using a wheelchair) to become an Ironman!

I am privileged to participate in the event and support this great cause. I hope to return to next year’s ride.
